About Me: Anik Michaud joined Anglo American in January 2008 as Group Head of Corporate Communication and was appointed Group Director of Corporate Relations in June 2015. Her remit includes Corporate Communication, International and Government Relations, Social Affairs, and the Office of the Chief Executive. Anik is a member of the Group Management Committee, reporting directly to the chief executive.

At Anglo American, Anik has led the development of a truly global, integrated Corporate Relations function. With a focus on effectively managing socio-political risk, engaging proactively and meaningfully with key stakeholders, rallying employees around the company’s ambitions and protecting and strengthening its global reputation and brand, the function provides critical support in the delivery of the company’s strategy.
