About Me: Ian is a Senior Manager of the Company Network at Ceres, advising member companies on integrating sustainability issues into core business strategies to effectively manage environmental and social risks and improve financial performance. Ian manages relationships with a portfolio of member companies in the Information Communication Technology (ICT), retail and healthcare sectors. Ian's subject matter expertise includes the integration of the SDGs into business strategy, human rights, supply chain management, circular economy, and corporate sustainability reporting.

Prior to joining Ceres, Ian worked for Mercy Corps, an international relief and development agency, for eight years throughout Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Ian held various director and management roles overseeing the implementation of market development projects and private sector partnerships supporting smallholder farmers and low-income communities to access new markets and products and services, to increase earnings, and to build essential infrastructure.

Ian holds a Master of Science in Management and Implementation of Development Projects from Manchester University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Leeds University.
