Rachel Kibbe

About Me: Rachel Kibbe has been an ethical fashion activist, writer and entrepreneur since 2011. She founded HELPSY, the first millennial directed e-commerce store for sustainable fashion, beauty and tech products featuring designers from all over the world.
Rachel recently co-founded a clothing recycling company, by the same name. In just over a year HELPSY has become the largest clothing collection and recycling company in the Northeast US. As a certified B Corp, they have saved 25 million pounds of clothes from the landfill, given 14,800 winter jackets to those in need, and partnered with communities and non-profits to meet their environmental and fundraising goals.
Actively partnering with the fashion industry, municipalities, Universities and people to keep clothes out of the trash, HELPSY is closing the fashion loop. Their goal is to make clothing recycling, reuse and upcycling easier than ever and to save unwanted clothing from landfills at scale.
Rachel has a BA from Emory University in Creative Writing and Spanish, and a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons. She has written for, and been featured in: The Guardian, Racked, Refinery29, The Business of Fashion, The Huffington Post, Forbes and more.
