About Me: Since 1993, Jason Morrison has been with the Pacific Institute, a non-profit, non-partisan sustainability policy research center based in Oakland, California. In October 2016, Mr. Morrison began his role serving as President of the organization. Prior to that, he directed the Institute’s Corporate Sustainability Program, where he studied the policy implications of private sector sustainability initiatives, with a focus on freshwater-related business risks and on sustainable water management in the business community. Under a Memorandum of Understanding between the Pacific Institute and the UN Global Compact, Mr. Morrison serves as the Head of the CEO Water Mandate, and has been supporting the initiative since 2008 with applied research, event organization, and other services.

Mr. Morrison is a co-founder of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS), a global initiative that has developed and is now implementing a freshwater certification program to advance responsible water practices by water providers and large-scale users.
