About Me: Maureen Tholen has always sought to work on complex problems that require technology, strategy, diversity of thought and skills, and inclusion of everyone, in order to make a positive impact. Her Sustainability role leading two of 3M’s largest business groups connects the capabilities of the businesses and operations with the goals of our customers, stakeholders and communities within which we work, and demonstrates our company’s ambition to improve every life. She has a diverse background bridging technical and business leadership roles at 3M which gives her a unique set of skills to work on issues ranging from worker health and safety, and trade skill development, to water quality, and minimizing waste. She shares her passion and energy by serving on a number of boards, contributing to women’s leadership initiatives, and volunteering in numerous youth development opportunities.
