About Me: Joshua Lachs serves as Chief Development & Client Programs Officer at Net Impact, the global premier organization inspiring and equipping purpose-driven young leaders seeking to use their skills and careers to create tangible, sustainable impact. Prior to joining Net Impact, Joshua served in several executive roles within large social enterprises, nonprofits, and universities, including as CEO for Breakthrough Collaborative. His career has centered on the intersection of education access and equity, job and career readiness, and economic development. As an active member in his communities, Joshua currently serves as Board President at zSharp, as well as Board Vice-Chair at Center for Youth Development through Law. He’s also led and participated on numerous social sector boards, institutional committees, and task forces. He holds an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and masters degrees from Columbia University. Joshua lives with his family in Berkeley, CA.
